NON-PERISHABLE

By contributing monthly, you will provide a critical and dependable stream of income to support our work, which means we can be ready when we’re needed. It also allows you to spread your giving throughout the year at the level that is most comfortable for you.

Monthly Donation Options
Our model of care provides free services to the resident and family. Operation of the house is dependent on the support of the community and funding is obtained through individual donations, foundation, corporate, and civic support. The IRS has designated Carolina Comfort Coalition as a public charity 501(c)(3). This allows increased tax advantages for the donors. The Carolina Comfort Coalition is now accepting donations through PAYPAL.

For Sustaining Circle subscriptions first select your monthly option on the drop down menu. Then select the yellow Subscribe to complete the donation.

Different ways to volunteer

Our Volunteer Training

Every new bedside volunteer is matched with a mentor who provides comprehensive and practical knowledge of the caregiver role at Serenity House. We have found that this is the most successful approach to on-boarding new volunteers. Typically, new volunteers stay with their mentors for several sessions and always have the mentor as a resource for questions and concerns that may arise.

We offer several educational training programs throughout the year. In addition to our regularly scheduled Skills Training seminars, we also provide unique hands-on programs. Many of our speakers are well-known presenters skilled in end-of-life topics and session materials provide a lasting benefit to our volunteers.
