Caring for your loved one and keeping our volunteers and staff safe is our top priority. Please see the extra steps we are taking below to deliver the safest care possible.

Serenity House Safety Protocol in tandem with CDC protocol can be accessed through the above link.  

IPC-Cleaning protocol certification by the CDC. 
We have created a directional flow through the house with specific entry and exit points. 
Masks must be worn and gloves will be worn while assisting residents. 
The temp of the staff and volunteers will be taken upon entry to the house. 
The staff temperatures will be taken twice throughout the day.
A questionnaire for each volunteer will be completed on arrival, then signed and filed. 
Signage and reminders will be posted throughout the house.
Covid tests will be required for all incoming residents and their families. 
Residents and caregivers will be asked to self-isolate for fourteen days before arrival at Serenity House. 
No residents from assisted living or residential care facilities will be admitted to Serenity House. 
Family visits will be limited to two visitors at a time.
Serenity House will be thoroughly cleaned by a professional service before reopening. 
We are changing the air filters to a HEPA approved filter. 

Protocol notebook (still in process) will be read and signed on by volunteers and staff.
Cleaning protocol in place according to CDC guidelines.
Surfaces will be continually cleaned.
