In the tradition of Mother Teresa, the Carolina Comfort Coalition is an organization of interested professional and lay people dedicated to serving the needs of people at the end of life.
The mission of the Coalition is to establish, with community support, two bed comfort care residences where a terminally ill person, who may be unable to obtain care due to physical, financial or emotional reasons at home, will be provided a home-like atmosphere to die in peace and dignity surrounded by loved ones and friends.
